Pentagon Part 6Carbo brought his paw up and rubbed it over his eyes, rubbing away the tears, Inculta was looking away lost in her memories. "That sounds horrible, I cant imagine going through that" said Carbo slowly "Why were they shooting her anyway?" asked Carbo "For her pelt" replied Inculta still staring blankly into the darkening forest. "What do you mean?" asked Carbo confused "They killed her so they could take her fur, they use it to make clothes, like things that they wear, it's a big trade, thousands of our kind die for it" said Inculta tears running down her cheeks. "That's barbaric, why would you want to wear a dead animals skin?" asked Carbo looking disgusted "They wear whole dead foxes around their necks sometimes and cow skins on their feet" said Inculta. "So are you saying that nothing like that happens around here?" Carbo shook his head "What a privileged life you lead, you're like kings here" continued Inculta. More tears started running down Inculta's cheeks and she put her head on
Pentagon Part 5Carbo lay down next to her "What's that thing on your leg?" asked Carbo looking into her blue eyes "What do you mean?" asked Inculta "The wound" he replied "That's where they darted me" said Inculta slowly doubting his sanity. "Dar- what?" asked Carbo, "What have you never been darted?" asked Inculta incredulously "I have no idea what your even talking about so no" said Carbo grinning at her. "Its where they fire this thing at you and it sends you to sleep" said Inculta struggling to find the right words, she sat up so she was lying on her front her head up. Carbo rolled onto his back his tail wagging his tongue hanging out, Inculta giggled "Your worse than a cub!" she said laughing.
"Yeah but I'm better company" said Carbo rolling onto his front, "Can't say I've ever really had company" said Inculta "Me either, I hate being responsible for other people or having responsibility, I'm a lone wolf you could say" said Carbo grinning. "I've just never really had anyone around" said Inculta
Pentagon part 4The fox growled and barred it teeth, he barked back his mouth rolling back exposing his fangs. The fox pressed back onto its ankles preparing to leap, he was one step ahead. He leaped over the she wolf that was separating him from the fox and he managed to sink his claws into the foxes hind before it tore away. The fox was bleeding heavily its skin ripped in long claw marks he was making a circle around the she wolf keeping an equal distance from him. "What are you doing?!" asked The wolf to the fox "Why are you attacking a wolf, you are outmatched and Injured" he said, his speech didn't sound as impressive as he had hoped. The fox grinned smirking right at him, his actions were so confusing "The Pentagon" the fox replied in a snarly horrible voice "What the hell does that mean!" he shouted back stamping his front paw onto the ground, he had to look stronger in every second. "The pentagon must be forged" replied the fox limping more heavily now "What is, the 'pentagon'?" he
Pentagon part 3He took a few more steps forward, the moonlight beams seemed to be focused around her, illuminating her body, something about her seemed special, she was different none the less he'd never seen a sandy coloured wolf. Or any wolf with that kind of wound, she seemed smaller than the wolves around her, her frame more slight like she was more built for speed than long distance. She didn't look particularly well fed either her bones were quite prominent. He sat back, he would stay here with her protect her while she slept, this was not the place to be on your own wounded at night. He wondered what that flying thing was, it didn't seem natural, it didn't look grown it looked, built like the chimps and monkeys in the forest built crude tools from different things. This was on a different scale though, it was so much more complex and they had made it fly like a bird. His head hurt with thinking about how they could possibly do that, maybe it was full of thousands of birds and they made it fly
Pentagon part 2He set of the taste of blood still strong in his mouth, along a dusty path leading out if the forest his eyes always trained on the moon following it willing it to reveal its secrets. The path way surrounded by tall trees almost touching a the top, it was like a tunnel, it was still quite bright under the shining blaze of the full moon still visible through the trees. The light filtered down almost like it was sunlight, but this moonlight was less harsh more softer more magical.
That's when he heard it, above some sort of massive moving object there was so much noise like something turning and turning like a big wind storm, he ran into the cover of the trees quickly, this big object scared him so. The big object seemed to be lowering downwards and the wind from it was whipping up the dust on the path so the whole beauty of the moonlight was obscured by the dust and the massive flying object. It had hit the tree canopy now and the big circles making all of the wind were cutting away the
